Liverpool U23 coach Neil Critchley rates Swansea City striker Ollie McBurnie as the best at U23 level this season.

McBurnie was outstanding in Swansea's win over Liverpool yesterday.

Critchley remarked: "They're very well organised. They made it very difficult for us without the ball, they defended in numbers and they had a threat on the break.

"I thought their number nine (Oliver McBurnie) was excellent, as good as any player we've played against this season, and with his hold up play, they were able to spring their attacks forward with number ten, seven and eleven joining in."

McBurnie has hinted on social media over the last 24 hours that he will be joining Aston Villa next month.
