Liverpool chiefs are ready to return to the negotiating table for Lyon captain Nabil Fekir - but with a catch.
Having seen a move fall through before the World Cup, Liverpool are willing to try again this week to thrash out a deal for Fekir - despite concerns raised over his Melwood medical.
L'Equipe says Liverpool are keen to bring Fekir to England, where manager Jurgen Klopp sees him as the ideal successor for Philippe Coutinho, now of Barcelona. However, they won't allow things to drag on.
Liverpool's board have given themselves until the end of July to reach a deal. If nothing can be settled, they will look elsewhere.
OL president Jean Michel Aulas stated over the weekend: "Maybe he's going to Liverpool or another club, but if he stays, it will be a great season for him and for us."
