Liverpool captain Henderson: Time to move on from Mane debate

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson says it's time to move on after Sadio Mane's sale to Bayern Munich.

Henderson has drawn a line under the disappointing exit of Sadio Mane from Anfield.

The AFCON winner enjoyed six successful seasons on Merseyside but decided to continue his career in a different direction this summer, joining Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

But ex-teammate Henderson, who has won almost every major trophy on offer to him alongside Mane, says that the Reds must simply move on without him.

“Really good to have around, setting standards, so a big miss for us. But that's football. Hopefully he does well at Bayern and we've brought a few new lads in to this group and hopefully we can adapt and change a bit now Sadio's gone. But like I said, life goes on."
