Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is willing to play anywhere to help the team.

The English international has not been a regular for the club this season.

He has found competition in midfield difficult, with the likes of Naby Keita and Fabinho joining this summer. But Henderson is a team player and will suit up in any role if it helps the team.

"Obviously I'd give it everything. I'd be ready," he said in a press conference when asked about starting in defence.

"When I spoke to the manager about playing full-back it was a question of would I be confident.

"Whatever position I'm asked to play I'll be 100% ready and give it everything.

"Wherever I'm asked to play I'll give everything for the team."
