Liverpool captain Henderson happy for Maguire over Man Utd move: Just don't play well

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson admits he's happy for Harry Maguire over his move to Manchester United.

Henderson has wished Maguire all the best at Manchester United following his record-breaking £85m move from Leicester City.

He does, however, hope he doesn't have the best of times when Liverpool face the Red Devils during the new campaign.

“I haven't spoken to him but… a lot of people will talk about the money and things like that," Henderson told Sky Sports.

“But for Manchester United it's obviously a good signing because I think Harry's a fantastic player and he'll do a fantastic job there, I'm sure.

“When we play against him I hope he doesn't play very well.

“But he's a great lad and it's a great move for him so I'm sure he will do very well there."
