Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has challenged Jack Robinson to step up his game in preseason.
Robinson featured in victory over Olympiakos.
Rodgers told liverpoolfc.com: "He's done well. He looks stronger and a bit more confident. There are areas he needs to be better in.
"In the first half, Jose Enrique was strong. He's still got a long way to go before we get him up to full speed because he's a really good player.
"Jack now has an opportunity to show me he can be a part of the squad. I always look to young players from the Academy base, I always look from within. If they show the right qualities, they can make the step up. He'll get an opportunity and hopefully he can take it."
