Brendan Rodgers did not divulge too much information when quizzed on Pepe Reina's situation at Liverpool.
Reports in the UK suggest that Spanish goalkeeper will spend the season on loan with Italian club Napoli following the Reds' signing of Simon Mignolet from Sunderland.
It has been suggested that the year-long agreement is done and dusted but Rodgers told a press conference in Melbourne on Monday that nothing has yet been sorted.
"No nothing as of yet. Obviously the latest was an offer to take him on loan but that's something that hasn't been discussed any further," he said.
The Reds are in Melbourne to take on A-League club Melbourne Victory as part of their 2013 pre-season tour to Asia and Australia.
