Liverpool are being linked with Benfica attacker Ola John.

Record says English sources suggest Liverpool and Ajax are chasing the forward, who can play as a striker and in a wide role.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers attempted to sign John in the summer and is ready to try again in January.

John has managed just two starts for Benfica in the last seven games.
