Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is delighted with the form of fullback Jon Flanagan.

The 21 year-old has impressed in the absence of Glen Johnson.

"I look at Flanagan, and the development of him as a young player since I've been here has been absolutely outstanding. He's a young character and he's going into the games and playing under pressure and he's been outstanding," said Rodgers.

"Then Jordon Ibe comes off the bench at the age of 18 [against Arsenal] and he's been excellent."
