Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is backing Danny Sturridge for England success this coming week.
Injury kept Sturridge out of the last two qualifiers but now he's fit and raring to go.
Rodgers said: "He's going to be a real asset. You only have to look at his game - he will hurt defences.
"I think it's great for him that form. If you look at him and Rooney as a combination, that would be brilliant for England.
"You have got him and his cleverness, Rooney in behind him with his movement between spaces and his exceptional quality.
"Dan has also got that pace to really hurt teams. At that level it's so important."
