Liverpool boss Klopp watching Sancho situation after telling pals he expected Man Utd move

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keeping watch on Jadon Sancho's situation after admitting he expected Manchester United to sign him.

Klopp was so convinced Sancho would join United he told friends he believed the player would end up at Old Trafford, says the Athletic.

The England winger was heavily linked with a move to Manchester United during the summer window, but the Reds and Borussia Dortmund failed to agree a deal.

Klopp has been “keeping abreast" of the situation between all three parties.

The report then goes on to claim that the German even “told friends he believed the player would end up at Old Trafford".

Sancho is under contract with Dortmund until 2023 and is likely to be subject to more speculation in the January transfer window.
