Liverpool boss Klopp warns Solskjaer: No club willing to wait for success

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has ducked questions about Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's position at Manchester United.

The Reds go to United on Sunday.

A Norwegian journalist asked Klopp if he had advice for Solskjaer.

He replied: "I have no clue about his position really. It's not important what you are writing, really. It's more important what the board are telling him. I don't have an opinion.

"I want every manager to have as much time in the world but no club is willing to wait for success.

"After my 29 games there was not 100 per cent agreement I was the perfect manager for Liverpool."

Klopp added: "We like to use atmosphere in our stadium it is incredibly helpful. Old Trafford is not too bad either. They said it - we are the perfect opponent.

"I don't think there are too many teams who want to play against us at the moment - it looks like Man United are the only one!

"How much do I enjoy these type of occasions? A lot! It's the salt in the soup.

"Would love to prepare this game with a full week. But now we have an international break - same for both teams.

"The players from the international duty they all came back healthy which is very important. So we have three or four days with the full squad to prepare which is a little bit comfortable at least. I love it."
