The Times says Mignolet looks set to stay at Liverpool.

The goalkeeper had been tipped to move on after dropping to substitute goalkeeper at Anfield behind first Loris Karius and then Allison.

But Jurgen Klopp is said to value his attitude and approach to being back-up despite limited opportunities, with the Belgian highly-valued in the Anfield dressing room.

For that situation to change, Liverpool and Mignolet would need to receive a permanent offer that excited the goalkeeper and guaranteed the Reds a fair fee, similar to Lucas Leiva's departure in 2017.
