Liverpool boss Klopp: Van Dijk deal feels right

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists the deal for Virgil van Dijk "feels right".

Manchester City, Chelsea and Arsenal were also keen on the Dutch centre-back but he made it clear to Southampton that his heart was set on playing for Klopp.

"He wanted to come here 100% and that is a very important thing," Klopp said.

"Imagine in this moment you are a football guy and a few clubs in the world are looking for someone and they don't hesitate or are shy with money.

"But that was not his intention. He wanted to join us and nobody else. That's another really good thing.

"It's nice, it's just good, it feels right. When you speak to him he will probably tell you the same."
