Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is upbeat on the returns of Diogo Jota and Thiago Alcantara.
Klopp revealed a number of his walking wounded are closing in on returns with Jota expected back in training before the end of the week, with Thiago also not too far behind.
The Portuguese suffered a hamstring injury on international duty before being dealt a further setback on his return to pre-season training, while the Spaniard hasn't featured since limping off against Fulham on the opening day of the season.
Klopp is relieved to see his squad's injury crisis begin to ease up.
"I think Diogo can train from Thursday on," he told reporters at his latest pre-match press conference. "Thiago I think, slightly later. We'll see.
"Calvin (Ramsay) is getting closer. Caoimhin Kelleher I saw walking outside for goalkeeper training. So there is light at the end of the tunnel, definitely."
