Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is unsure if Joe Gomez will make their FA Cup tie with Chelsea.

Gomez was among several players to miss out on defeat at Watford through injury, with Dejan Lovren struggling in his place alongside Virgil van Dijk in central defence.

Klopp, though, is hopeful the 22-year-old will be available for Tuesday's Stamford Bridge trip.

Explaining Gomez's absence, the Reds boss said: “He felt a little bit but nothing major. We just decided no risks.

“Will he be okay for the FA Cup? We will get more information afterwards, but I think so although I'm not 100%."
