Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was tight-lipped when asked to comment on rumours of a swoop for Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara.
The Spaniard, whose contract with the German giants has a year remaining, has recently been strongly linked with a cut-price move to the Premier League this summer.
However, when asked about the possibility of signing him following today's win over Aston Villa, the German was giving nothing away.
“Would you be surprised if I don't give an answer on that, just because I never answer these kind of questions," he said.
“Thiago Alcantara is a really good player. Like a lot of other players out there, I like (him) a lot.
But that's all I have to say about that."
