Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is adamant Mohamed Salah's opener was legitimate after their 2-0 win over Fulham.
Salah scored from a swift counter-attack four minutes before the break, netting just 14 seconds after Fulham saw a Aleksandar Mitrovic header from a set-piece disallowed for offside.
The visitors were furious assistant Adrian Holmes raised his flag although numerous television replays suggested the decision was borderline.
And Klopp instead chose to praise the quick thinking that saw Alisson Becker's instant free-kick fed to Trent Alexander-Arnold down the right before Salah was put clear to score.
“I have seen it once, I'm not sure," said the Liverpool boss of the offside. “What did the guys who have seen it 20 times say? It's still difficult to tell?
“If you watch the situation back, it was a very good routine from Fulham.
“It's difficult to see for the ref but there's a clear foul on Robbo (Andy Robertson), because he is our second guy to go and prevent the cross and he couldn't because a Fulham player stopped him.
“In the end, we were a bit lucky, and because of Robbo it's not 100% offside because of his heel. But before that somebody had held him.
“I don't want to compare it, but against Arsenal we scored a clearer goal which was not offside and didn't get it.
“You cannot change it. The most important thing is reacting in that situation that quickly, that was brilliant.
“Ali, Trent, Mo and done. It was a fantastic situation. The reaction was brilliant."
