Liverpool are eyeing Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
While it's emerged Manchester United had a €90m offer for Koulibaly turned down last week, Naples' Il Mattino reports Liverpool are also interested in the centre-half.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has no immediate January plans for the defender, but is keen to explore an end of season move.
For many, Koulibaly is competing with Reds defender Virgil van Dijk to be regarded as the best in the world.
Liverpool and Napoli are to face eachother again in their Champions League group this month.
