Liverpool boss Klopp snappy over Werner questions

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was snappy today when asked about Chelsea's swoop for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.

Klopp delivered a blunt response when asked about Werner's move to Chelsea.

Liverpool were keen on a deal for the Germany striker, and he'd even admitted he wanted to play under Klopp.

But Chelsea stole in and sealed the deal. And Klopp was in no mood to discuss it today.

He said: "We don't speak about transfers, especially of Chelsea. I have nothing to say.

"Timo Werner is a really good footballer. He's announced for Chelsea next season. That is it."
