Liverpool boss Klopp scoffs at Demirbay: It's not ice skating pal!

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has dismissed criticism of their style by Hoffenheim.

Klopp's men earned a 2-1 victory in the first leg of their Champions League play-off away to Bundesliga side Hoffenheim last week and tonight they bid to finish the job at Anfield.

And Hoffenheim midfielder Kerem Demirbay said in the build-up that his team play better football than Liverpool.

But Klopp couldn't care less saying: “I don't think about this at all. It's not ice skating where judges decide on the beauty.

“You are playing football and what matters is winning.

“I do like Kerem. He's an excellent player but he knows like me that football is not all about beauty."

Klopp also stated: “I know it is a legend of Anfield on European nights, they are really special and we need these special nights.

“Everyone who wants this needs to do their job tomorrow. I can guarantee the boys will fight for everything.

“It does not mean we will do it, but it means we will fight for it. I hope we will show the world what we are able to do."
