Liverpool boss Klopp rules out more stars for Leicester clash: But we don't want excuses

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists none of ihs players are seeking excuses ahead of their clash with Leicester City.

Jordan Henderson and Trent Alexander-Arnold are both out of Sunday's game.

Klopp said, "We just take it game by game.

"There's no season when you don't have injury problems.

"It is always the same, it's slightly different in that a lot of players in the same position have got injured and seriously injured, which makes it tricky.

"Nobody here feels self-pity or sorry for ourselves, it's just the situation. At the moment it hits you but the next moment you are in the solution process.

"We have players available and as long as we have 11 players we will fight for three points with all we have."

He continued: "I don't think my players have to prove anything we always handle difficult situations well.

"Obviously nobody is happy with my answers which is why you constantly ask the same questions.

"We will fight with all we have and that means if the problems become bigger we will get closer. If somebody thinks we will give up before the game because some of our best players or most important players are not available I cannot help him.

"We have to accept the situation and use it."
