Liverpool boss Klopp rules out Henderson for Leicester clash

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says that captain Jordan Henderson will miss their game against Leicester City on Thursday.

The Reds are hoping to keep pace with the Premier League leaders Manchester City in mid-week.

Henderson, who got a back knock in their FA Cup fourth-round win over Cardiff City, will sit out this game.

Asked about player availability, Klopp said, per the club website: "Hendo has a little bit [of a] back problem from the last game and Sadio [Mane] is not here, but neither issue will be long term, so that's good."

One who could be back for Liverpool is Mohamed Salah, having returned from African Cup of Nations duty.
