Liverpool boss Klopp: Roma style hid Alisson strengths

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is delighted with the impact of Alisson this season.

The Reds splashed out £67million on the goalkeeper from Roma.

Liverpool have conceded just eight times in 20 matches - a staggering eight fewer than title rivals Manchester City.

And Klopp has admitted he's been surprised by just how good the Brazilian has been.

Asked which Liverpool player has surprised him this season, Klopp told ESPN Brasil: "Well, maybe that Ali is such a good football player.

"It was always very clear that he was a very influential player with the ball, but that he's this good I didn't see it, honestly - maybe because of a different style Roma played.

"That was a little bit of a surprise, and a very nice surprise."
