Liverpool boss Klopp responds to Hillsborough verdict

The Hillsborough match commander David Duckenfield was found not guilty of the gross negligence manslaughter of 95 Liverpool fans who died at the 1989 FA Cup semi-final.

"It is so important to find the right words. Our thoughts and our love is with the families, explained Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.

"We are there for them because I can imagine it is a big disappointment and frustration. Sadness of course.

"This looks like the final verdict.Four years here I understand completely. I've met Margaret [Aspinall, chair of the Hillsborough Family Support Group],

"I respect a lot how much they fought and how long they fought and it shows how much it means to them. We are there for them 100 per cent."
