Liverpool boss Klopp reluctant to green light Wilson sale

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reluctant to see Harry Wilson sold.

The Liverpool Echo says Klopp is ready to hand Harry Wilson the chance to be a part of the long-term future at Liverpool.

The Wales international enjoyed a fine season on loan at Derby County, finishing the Championship campaign with 15 goals in 40 appearances for Frank Lampard's Rams.

And Wilson will be rewarded for his excellent campaign with an opportunity to stake a claim in Klopp's Champions League-winning squad for the new season.

The Reds have fielded several inquiries over the availability of the Welshman, but Klopp wants to run the rule over the versatile attacker in preseason before making a decision on his future.
