Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists he doesn't envy the spending of PSG.
Klopp lost Gini Wjnaldum to PSG this summer, which have also signed Lionel Messi from Barcelona and former AC Milan goalkeeper Gigio Donnarumma.
Despite being frustrated by the manner of Wijnaldum's departure, Liverpool's manager insists he isn't jealous of PSG's spending power.
Klopp told BILD via Le 10 Sport: “We can only play eleven. It's not about who has the best eleven players or the most spectacular on the pitch, but who makes the most of what they have together.
"Who makes the most of what they have? It's not unfair, it's just the news. A team must function. It's not much fun if you have 40 players and 22 of them aren't in a good mood every weekend."
Asked about following PSG's lead and going on a late signing spree, Klopp insists it was unrealistic given the strength of his squad.
He continued: "With us, all players have the right to exist, they are very happy. But adding more players just doesn't make sense at the moment."
Liverpool's one signing so far this summer has been France U21 defender Ibrahima Konate. Klopp, however, has also welcomed back Harvey Elliott after a season away on-loan with Blackburn Rovers.
Klopp hasn't looked outside to replace Wijnaldum, who wore the captain's armband at times last season. So far with his new club, Wijnaldum has played four games for PSG, three in Ligue 1.
