Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits he's been impressed by teenage fullback Ki-Jana Hoever.
The former Ajax prospect has trained with Klopp's senior squad this past week and could make his FA Cup squad for their tie with Wolves.
Klopp said, "He is of course one for the future, but I do not know yet what we are going to do with him for the competition.
"He is sixteen years old and celebrates his seventeenth birthday in a few days. If Joel Matip and Joe Gomez had been fit, Ki-Jana would in all probability not train with us. But he has trained with us, he still does that and he is a joy to watch.
"He is a boy with incredible confidence and also a very good footballer, that's nice. That we now see him working day in and day out is really cool.
"He is therefore one for the future, but I do not know when the future starts. He has learned a lot now, he has improved many things and one day he will make his debut. This is a good prospect for the coming months and years."
