Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp hasn't wrote off the future of Harry Wilson just yet.

Newcastle United have been linked with the midfielder.

But the Liverpool Echo says Wilson is to be given a further chance to impress when the Reds complete their pre-season campaign with a friendly against Lyon in Geneva.

Wilson is being given an opportunity to prove he has a long-term future at Liverpool having shone during his loan spell last season at Championship side Derby County.

The 22-year-old has appeared in all previous six warm-up games this summer and scored in the 3-2 defeat to Borussia Dortmund on the opening match of the recent US tour.
