Liverpool boss Klopp: Nobody was concerned about Salah

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes that no one at the club worried about Mohamed Salah's lack of scoring.

The Egyptian went through a goal drought that ended with a decisive goal that helped the team win 3-1 at Southampton in the Premier League.

And Klopp believes the criticism of Salah came solely from the media, not fans or his teammates.

The German said of Salah's form and confidence to reporters: "The late Tottenham goal really helped. I know it was an own goal but it was forced by Mo.

"For me the best way to describe this situation is the big chance he had in [Bayern] Munich. Everything was perfect and then in the last second [Niklas] Sule comes along from behind.

"He was so close in so many moments so nobody was concerned."
