Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp doesn't want to hear excuses as they go to Southampton today.
Klopp had previously expressed his unhappiness that Liverpool are playing away on Saturday after long trip to Istanbul in midweek but says there will be no excuses as they head to St Mary's in search of three points.
"My plan when I heard about the fixtures, was to win on Wednesday, to win on Saturday and then speak about it after that," he said.
"If you speak about it earlier it sounds like you are looking for excuses.
"We don't but everyone who looks at it – was it right that we played on Friday and Chelsea played on Sunday – no.
"We cannot change these things, we have to accept it like it is and we do.
"We don't think about Wednesday night, we think about Saturday."
