Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits James Mlner owed them a successful penalty after victory at Fulham.
Milner struck from the spot nine minutes from time to earn the Reds a vital 2-1 win at struggling Fulham on Sunday.
Klopp said: “Doubts? Not really, but even Milly is a human being, and he can fail. But he's very good.
“I don't know if it was a penalty. But so far nobody told me it was no penalty, so it makes me quite comfortable that it was!"
Milner's first contribution after coming on as a 72nd-minute substitute was to mishit a clearance that set in motion the chain of events for former Liverpool winger Ryan Babel to force home the equaliser.
And Klopp joked: “The first ball he shoots up in the air. Very nice!
“That's impact, eh? Without Milly, probably it's 1-0. With Milly, it's 2-1. In 15 minutes, cool eh?!"
