Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says Champions League opponents FC Midtjylland deserves great respect for splitting Denmark's Copenhagen teams.

The two teams meet tonight in the second group round.

Klopp said, "Now we meet Midtjylland, and I do not know how much they say about it in Danish football, but they show that many things are possible if you think faster and differently than others.

"Then you can seize some great chances. The Copenhagen teams were before the biggest teams, and now FCM disturbs them, so they have all my respect.

"We have respect for them, because we understand and know football. Many things are possible if you show the right attitude, and vice versa if you show the wrong one. So we also have to show the right attitude ourselves. We have to be 100 percent, and then we have a chance."
