Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says Sadio Mane could be involved in the game against Norwich on Friday despite missing most of pre-season.

The Reds kickoff the Premier League season against the Canaries.

Klopp said of Mane: "He looks fit. Yesterday was the first session with the team. He looks absolutely OK. Yes, he's an option.

"We have a lot of options, a lot of different line ups - no player gave me a reason to leave him out, so we have hard decisions on a squad. We have to stay as the team that nobody wants to play against.

"The atmosphere will be good. Our crowd will be waiting for us and we have been waiting for our fans. It's a while since we played at Anfield. But we have to be 'in' the season, always on our toes. Be 100 per cent and create an atmosphere which only Anfield can create."
