Liverpool boss Klopp: Makes sense to start Mane against Spartak

Sadio Mane is likely to start in Liverpool's Champions League clash against Spartak Moscow on Tuesday night.

The Senegalese attacker has been suspended for their previous three games due to his red card against Manchester City earlier this month.

But manager Jurgen Klopp has indicated the 25-year-old will be brought back into the starting line-up for the Reds second group stage match.

"He's [Mane] back and available again - and if he is available it makes sense to bring him from the beginning, but we will see," Klopp told the club's website.

"Sadio is back and it's really good. He made all the normal training sessions. When you are injured or suspended you have to do more than the rest of the squad because you cannot play, so he should be OK."
