Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is not ruling out a contract renewal at the club.
The German coach is currently under contract until 2024, and there is speculation he may leave when it expires.
However, Klopp was asked about ITV before their FA Cup tie against Norwich City about his future.
"I didn't feel a difference to the Champions League final. It felt as big as that to me," Klopp said pre-match of their Carabao Cup final win over Chelsea.
"Was it time to win a trophy? Yes! Overdue? I wouldn't say so. Last year was not the year to win a trophy, no chance. We didn't have a defence. I wouldn't say it was overdue but I would say 'in time'.
"I think both sides knew there was a good chance this would work out. The way this club is, the way I am, yes, I would say it was suitable.
"I really don't know [if I will stay on]. Our owners understood things will take time, we needed that.
"They are interested in development as well and that is pretty helpful."
