Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp was full of praise for Fabinho after Sunday's win over Chelsea.
The Brazilian midfielder had to fill in at centre-back after Joe Gomez and Joel Matip were ruled out of the game.
And after claiming a clean sheet in the 2-0 victory, Fabinho won plenty of praise from his manager.
Klopp said: "Fabinho, yes! If Sadio wouldn't have scored two goals, I think Fab would be a proper contender for Man of the Match.
"I loved his performance, he played outstanding. He helped us a lot with the ball and in defending as well, so yes, a proper performance."
