Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists Sadio Mane is no diver.

Mane was booked for simulation before half-time during Saturday's dramatic win at Aston Villa.

"I think when you see it back it's not diving," said Klopp.

"There's contact and everything but it's a decision we have to accept."

Klopp praised his matchwinner for keeping a level head as he was continually booed by the home crowd every time he received the ball.

"The crowd tries to make you even more insecure and obviously that's not possible with Sadio, so he stayed in the game, even defensively so yeah, very good."
