Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp can understand Xherdan Shaqiri being frustrated with his playing chances this season.
The 27-year-old midfielder has featured 30 times in all competitions.
Most notably the playmaker scored an important Anfield brace as Liverpool defeated Manchester United in the Premier League in December.
In an interview with Viasport Football Klopp was shown pictures of his players when they were younger and had to guess their identities.
When the German coach was presented with a photograph of Shaqiri as a youngster he guessed: "I think he's from Switzerland. That must be Shaq (Shaqiri).
"What a wonderful player and wonderful ambassador for his country.
"So I am really happy to have him around. I know people think I didn't play him often enough.
"He probably thinks the same. But what an important player for us all season."
