Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp hopes Atletico Madrid fail to sign Edinson Cavani this month.

Liverpool and Atletico are to meet in the Champions League round of 16 and Klopp is aware of their interest in PSG striker Cavani.

He commented, "Could Diego Costa come back? I don't think so, but maybe for the return...

"They are already good enough, I hope they will not sign Cavani.

"Although if they don't, they remain a very complicated opponent anyway..."
