Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp believes Bayern Munich are "lucky" to be Champions League winners.
Klopp's Liverpool were de-throned by Bayern over a year on from their success in Madrid but the Reds' boss feels Hansi Flick's side were handed a big advantage in the latter stages.
Speaking to ZDF, Klopp said of Bayern boss Flick: "It is difficult to write more history in eight months.
But he added that Bayern were "a little lucky that, amid all the chaos with schedules, their schedule was best suited to the Champions League."
But regardless of his thoughts on Bayern's schedule, Klopp was happy to admit they were "at the moment definitely one of the absolute, absolute top teams".
“[They are] sensationally well equipped," he added. "They have absolute world-class players in every position, and all at the right age."
