Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was delighted with goalscorer Naby Keita after their Champions League win over Porto.
With injuries and inconsistency having hampered his progress, the Guinean has struggled to regularly show his best form for the Reds since completing a £50million move from RB Leipzig last summer.
However, after scoring his first goal for the club in last weekend's crucial league win at Southampton, Keita netted again to put his team en route to a Champions League quarter-final victory on Tuesday evening.
Reflecting on Keita's contributions, Klopp said: “I think Naby was a couple of times a bit unlucky with the first one or two situations and had to find [his way] back into the game if you like.
“Today it was from the start he was immediately there. We hoped it would be like this because the last game got better and better minute by minute so we wanted to build on that.
“It looked really, really good tonight, all of them were really hard-working and good football playing, a lot of good passes.
“The goal was brilliant, I loved it, it was deflected yes but the situation, how we did it, that was the half-space we wanted to use. The boys did that really well, it was a really good performance."
