Liverpool boss Klopp contemplates extending offer for Gladbach midfielder Neuhaus

Liverpool are set to make an offer for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Florian Neuhaus.

Gini Wijnaldum's free transfer to PSG has left Jurgen Klopp short of midfield options.

A number of players have been linked with a switch to Merseyside, including Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul.

And reports in Germany have claimed Neuhaus is also an option for Klopp.

According to Sport1, the Reds are 'expected to make a concrete offer' in the near future.

Neuhaus' release clause of £34.3m has expired, but it is believed an offer around that amount would get the deal done.

Any move for Neuhaus will not be complete until after Euro 2020, in which time Klopp can weigh up whether he wants to pull the trigger on the deal.
