Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed his interest in Genk midfielder Sander Berge.
The Norway international has been linked with the Reds and impressed in Genk's Champions League defeat at Anfield this week.
Klopp made a beeline for Berge at the final whistle to let him know he was an "interesting player", something he confirmed to VG reporters yesterday.
"He's a good player. A very good player. He is certainly interesting," declared Klopp, who was unhappy his short conversation with Berge made it to the English press.
"The things I say to players after matches are private. That's it from my point of view. How other people relate to it, I can't change that..."
