Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp remains a top target for Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.

Perez has long admired Klopp since his days in charge of Borussia Dortmund.

And with Julen Lopetegui struggling to handle the job at Real, Florentino has Klopp again under consideration as a replacement for the Basque.

Sport says Klopp and Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino are on his shortlist, though their contract situations will prove a major obstacle.

Klopp's deal with Liverpool runs to 2022, while Pochettino is tied to Spurs until 2023.
