Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has apologised for blowing up at his translator for their pre-match Champions League media conference on Monday.
Klopp blasted the interpreter after taking exception to how his fellow German speaker translated Jordan Henderson's answer.
But, following the hard-fought 2-0 win over RB Salzburg on Tuesday which secured their spot in the last-16, the Reds chief was quick to say sorry for his "stupid" outburst".
"Before we start I'd like to apologise for yesterday," the Reds boss said post-match.
"I know that it was unfair and even more so as it happened in public.
"It was completely stupid. I didn't like the way my answer was translated, but the way I addressed it was stupid.
"I should have done better and I'm sorry."
Klopp, who made his apology in German, then shook the translator's hand before saying "now in English" and bursting into laughter.
