Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp praised the Anfield fans after their reception for Roberto Firmino yesterday.
Firmino jumped from the bench to score the final goal in Liverpool's historic 7-0 rout of Manchester United. The goal coming just days after it was announced the Brazilian would be leaving at the end of the season.
Klopp said: "Bobby was responsible for the evening's most special moment.
"It was not an easy decision for him (not to extend the contract) and the tribute he received from the fans was absolutely unique.
"Despite all the fantastic goals he has scored for the club, what he scored tonight (yesterday) was probably the goal he most wanted to score."
