Liverpool boss Klopp adding ex-Man Utd keeper coach to staff

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is set to add a new goalkeeper coach.

The Liverpool Echo says Klopp is set to add to his Liverpool backroom staff with the appointment of goalkeeping coach Jack Robinson.

The Reds are in talks to secure the services of Robinson, who currently works for the Football Association as national goalkeeping coach for the under-15s to under-17s.

Long-serving Liverpool goalkeeping coach John Achterberg has been heavily involved in the recruitment of Robinson, who would effectively be his assistant.

With Achterberg working closely with senior keepers Alisson Becker and Simon Mignolet, Robinson's focus will be on helping to develop highly-rated youngsters Kamil Grabara and Caoimhin Kelleher at Melwood.

Robinson spent seven years at Manchester United where he coached the likes of David de Gea and Edwin van der Sar.
