Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp: Don't change Champions League

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists there's no reason to change the Champions League.

When asked about what changes he would make to the Champions League format given the opportunity, Klopp was prepared with a comical answer for reporters.

"If they could make the semi-final the final then I would be completely happy with it!" he quipped, referencing his poor record in finals.

"I don't know what people want to change. I love the competition. The right teams play in it, each team has the same chance to go through.

"Since 2012, apart from 2017, I was every year with my team in a final. We came there sometimes with luck.

"I am the world record-holder in the last seven years in winning semi-finals. But if I were to write a book about it probably no-one would buy it."
