Liverpool boss Roy Hodgson has assured sceptical fans that the day he loses his passion for the game he will quit.
Hodgson says more the moment he is as enthusiastic as ever about the game.
The 63-year-old admitted: "I have promised myself the day I lose it will be the day I walk away.
"That day may never come. It never did for Bobby Robson.
"But I hope I'll be bright enough to recognise when the game doesn't mean as much to me and I don't get as angry, excited or happy as I did in the past."
